I’m Laura Wong. I work with women who reach a point where, on paper, everything still works, but something doesn’t feel quite right. This self reflection exercise is the first step I use with many of my clients. Because before you can work out what’s next, you need to see clearly what’s actually going on now.
In my experience, there are a few key areas (across both work and life) that tend to keep things feeling stuck. One of the most common is workload. Not just your job, but the sheer amount you’re managing, thinking about and responsible for day to day.
Take just a couple of minutes and see which of these areas may be affecting you most right now, so you know where to focus your attention. No fluff. Just a clearer picture of what’s going on, and a useful place to start.
The four areas we'll look at are:

Workload and Pressure
The overall load you’re carrying (not just your job, but everything you’re responsible for). When everything feels like it’s sitting on you, and there’s no real space to step back.

Control and Clarity
How clear you are on what actually matters now, and whether your life still fits the person you’ve become.
Or whether you’re just continuing with things because you always have.

Time and Headspace
How much space you actually have to think. Not just time in your diary, but the mental space to reflect, process, and make decisions that feel right.

Boundaries
How often you’re taking on more than you want to.
Saying yes when something doesn’t feel right, or continuing to do things that have just become yours by default.
